A TCK with only an American Passport
For those that don't know a TCK is a third culture kid. A kid like me; a girl who was born in Ohio, is from Chicago, but has lived in Singapore for the past decade before coming back to the US for college. Some of the questions that I'm hoping to explore and answer through this autoethnography are: How is life different for TCKs compared to international students? American students? How do TCKs feel about coming "home"? In what way do all of the small adjustments add up to a big change? Obviously there will be more questions and topics explored and more people to talk to gain insights past my own experience because I want to know more on the U.S. TCK experience upon the return home for college. My Autoethnography can be found here.
